FeelWorld P7 Overview

The FeelWorld P7S 7" 2200 cd/m² Full HD 3G-SDI/4K HDMI On-Camera Aluminum Monitor features a native 1920 x 1200 resolution with a contrast ratio of 1200:1, plus a maximum brightness of 2200 cd/m² that makes it suitable for use outdoors without a sun hood. This IPS monitor enables you to accurately monitor your camera's output, and it is calibrated to the Rec. 709 HD color standard to ensure accurate color reproduction. The monitor features an aluminum housing for durability and a large 7" screen with a 160° wide viewing angle that allows multiple crew members to watch the footage without the appearance of contrast or color changes to the image.

The top-mounted control buttons provide maximum screen real estate to view your footage now that front-panel buttons and knobs are no longer cluttering your monitor. The monitor supports an assortment of display and diagnostic tools, including focus peaking, false color, zebra bars, histogram, image flip, and color temperature adjustment. In addition, the monitor offers multiple aspect ratio options and features an anamorphic mode that supports 1.33:1 and 2.0:1.

Brightness
At 2200 cd/m² maximum brightness, the monitor does not require a sunshade when used in bright exterior settings.
Top-Mounted Menu and Function Buttons
The menu controls are located on top of the monitor, including three programmable buttons for frequently used settings. The monitor will automatically save the parameters you have previously set, even when powering down.
Focus and Exposure Tools
The focus and exposure tools of the P7S include focus peaking indicators (red, green, and blue) that highlight parts of the image in sharp focus. In addition, false color tools make it easy to properly set exposure. The false color tools work by highlighting specific color ranges of luminance with a solid color overlay.
Connections
The P7S is equipped with a 4K HDMI input and pass-through 4K HDMI output, allowing for connection to 4K cameras. The monitor's 3.5mm stereo jack enables you to plug in headphones to monitor audio. DC input and output ports are also provided, and a dummy battery adapter cable (available separately) can be used to power your DSLR or mirrorless camera.
Flexible Installation
Three standard 1/4"-20 mounting points (left side, bottom, and right side) offer easy attachment to cameras and rigs.
Aluminum Chassis
The milled aluminum chassis protects the monitor from the rigors of the production day.
Power
The monitor supports interchangeable battery plates and comes with an L-series battery plate. In addition, the monitor features an integrated 12 VDC locking coaxial input, as well as an 8 VDC locking coaxial output that can be used to power your DSLR or mirrorless camera (requires dummy battery, available separately).

I use it on my Steadicam and it works very well (I was afraid about ext-day, but the monitor is really super bright) I recommend it.

I have this product for a few months - it is excellent built quality, extremely bright. Got pretty good set of built in instruments. Full metal case definitely much better than any plastic. Sure it uses batteries faster if you use maximum brightness and menus system requires attention to properly use it, which is common for professional products. Overall - an excellent product.

No, the FeelWorld P7S 7" 2200 cd/m² Full HD 3G-SDI/4K HDMI On-Camera Aluminum Monitor can only support DCI 4K at 24p and UHD 4K at 30p, 29.97p, 25p and 23.98p.

Does the monitor have an anti-glare coating to help prevent reflected sunlight?

We are not aware of any anti-glare coating on this monitor. Only that it has a very bright 2200 cd/m² panel.

A sunhood is not included with this monitor. Keep in mind that this monitor is 2200 Nits, it is an Ultra High Bright monitor, which is why a sunhood is not included.
