7artisans Photoelectric 60mm f/2.8 Macro Reviews
Really impressed thus far
Images are very sharp and the build quality surprisingly solid considering the price.. fun to use and explore its use.
Good value for a inexpensive macro lens
As a starting point to try macro photography I wanted not to break the bank with the Olympus lense , this little unit is a very good start, my trial photos are both colourful and very sharp and I have adjusted to using manual focus very quickly, almost came as second nature after a few minutes. The only thing I did dislike is the press on front lens cap .
Good build , average glass
I have been using it for a while , for a price it's good , may be better than extension tube . If you really want to take good MACRO than it's not for you .
This was my first lens, and I still use it pretty often. I've taken some pretty good pics with it. One of the downsides is that it does not have auto focus. This means it takes longer to get a shot, for you have to focus it. But that is to be expected from a cheap lens! All these pictures are unedited.
Good quality, very good price
I am happy with this lens. The fact that it is manual focus does not bother me in the least. For macro work, I expect to focus manually. The all metal construction is heavier than expected but when on a tripod weight is not an issue. The fact that it only stops down to f-16 and that there are no f-stop detents is a little disappointing. My informal tests indicate that the focus goes somewhat soft at f-16. So I understand why the 7artisans didn't take it further. Good value for money. Will shop 7artisans again
I got very good photos- it took time to master as it will not electronically work with camera
I wanted a macro lens, but had sticker shock on what was available for my xt-3. I picked up this lens, just so that I could get the close-ups I was looking for. This lens does not disappoint. Manual focus works great with fuji focus assist tools.
Excellent lens for everything including macro
