Im my experience it does not fully work with usb c iPad. You may record audio but speakers won’t work at the same time which exclude eg video conferencing. To listen to the recorded audio you need to plug off Saraninic wireless receiver from usb c port. I would not recommend this device for iPad users.

The system's included USB-C receiver connects to devices like smartphones, tablets, and computers. It will work with your Mac. There is no option to connect the USB-C receiver to a 3.5mm mic input. If you will want to have the option of connecting to a device with a 3.5mm mic input, you will need the camera-mount receiver, which is the Saramonic Blink 500 RX Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Receiver (2.4 GHz), BH # SABLINK500RX. Or you can purchase the complete wireless system with the camera-mount receiver, which is Saramonic Blink 500 B1 Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (2.4 GHz), BH #SABLINK500B1. The transmitter will work with either type of the Blink 500 receivers.
