Built to deliver accurate color reproduction and saturation, the ProArt PQ22UC 21.6" 16:9 HDR OLED Monitor from ASUS features a pure RGB Stripe OLED panel with billions of self-illuminating pixels that deliver deeper black and brighter whites. It also features a native resolution of 3840 x 2160, 10-bit support for 1.07 billion colors, HDR support that covers the HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) specs, a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, 330 cd/m2 brightness, 204 pixels per inch, and a 0.1 ms (GtG) response time. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position.
The ProArt PQ22UC has one micro-HDMI 2.0b port and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports. The micro-HDMI port is used for connecting HDMI-compatible devices using an included micro-HDMI to HDMI cable, and one USB Type-C port is used for connecting the power cord, while the other supports DP alt mode, USB data transmissions, and ProArt calibration.
ASUS has engineered this display with support for 99.5% of the Adobe RGB gamut, 100% of the sRGB gamut, and 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut. It is pre-calibrated ∆E < 2 to help guarantee its color accuracy and gamma values can be set at 2.6, 2.4, 2.2, 2.0, and 1.8. If you prefer to use preset video modes, there are eight pre-configured ones, including Adobe RGB, Rec. 2020, DCI-P3, sRGB, Rec. 709, Standard, and two user-defined modes. Also supported is HDCP content protection, a 14-bit internal lookup table, Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, and more. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the ProArt PQ22UC features a vertical tilt of 2 to 20°.
Fully realizing the advanced performance of the OLED panel, the ProArt PQ22UC achieves a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, displaying high dynamic range (HDR) content with rich, deep black areas and bright, accurate highlights. Together with support for a much wider color gamut than conventional monitors, the ProArt PQ22UC can reproduce high-resolution HDR images with better clarity, depth, and realism.
Color Accuracy Optimization
ASUS ProArt Calibration lets you optimize color space settings for different content. Besides sRGB, you can create advanced setups comprising of five different color spaces and other customized settings.
Uniformity Compensation
ASUS ProArt Calibration gives you 3x3 and 5x5 uniformity compensation matrices to help ensure consistent brightness throughout the screen to reduce color shifts.
Saved Color Parameter Profiles
ASUS ProArt Calibration Technology saves all color parameter profiles on the ProArt monitor's internal scaler IC chip instead of your host system. This lets you connect your monitor to different devices without needing to continuously change existing settings. It also reduces the signal distortion between the IC and the LCD optical spectrum. The color profiles can be easily activated by using the hotkey on the monitor next time without a PC or calibrators.
Compatible with Most Calibrators
ASUS ProArt Calibration Technology is also compatible with hardware calibrators such as the X-rite i1 Display Pro and Datacolor Spyder 5 series.
Picture-in-Picture Mode
Easily place your second input source in a window in one corner of the display.
Picture-by-Picture Mode
To simultaneously experience different settings, place multiple input sources side by side onscreen and configure each individual window's color settings with sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, Rec. 2020, User Mode 1, or User Mode 2.
