Enjoy out-of-the-box interactivity and shadowless images in most installations with the Maxell MC-TW3506 3700-Lumen WXGA Ultra-Short Throw Interactive 3LCD Projector. It features an ultra-short 0.3:1 throw ratio (measured from the mirror cover), which allows it to be mounted only directly above or below your screen, wall, or whiteboard to project an image as large as 100", reducing the risk of possible shadows. Its 3700 lumens of brightness, combined with its 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, helps it overcome ambient light in many situations and retain detail in dark areas of the image without compromising overall brightness. The WXGA 1280 x 800 native resolution helps ensure that text and images are clear at most viewing distances.

The MC-TW3506 features RCA composite, two VGA, and two HDMI inputs to support various sources. One HDMI input is MHL-compatible, allowing you to connect your compatible smart device directly to the projector to mirror its screen. One VGA input can instead act as an output, allowing you to output the video to another projector or display. Its stereo RCA and 1/8" audio inputs, 1/8" audio output, and built-in 16-Watt speaker allow audio to accompany your video for a more immersive experience. An IR remote is included for convenient control, plus a VGA cable for virtually instant connectivity. Two interactive pens are also included.

Interactive Software
The projector includes a drawing application that allows you to draw onto your projections.
Letter and Figure Conversion
Automatically convert freehand shapes into geometric objects and handwriting into text on projected images via the included interactive pens.
More Than a Pen
The interactive pens let you operate a compass, ruler, protractor, stopwatch, and other useful tools on the projected image.
Writing and Drawing Capabilities
You can write and draw on images projected from nearly any source, including a document camera, without using a computer.
Save and Open Drawn Screens
You can save the image drawn on the projector screen, allowing you to manage and view previous projects.
Painter Tool
The interactive pens also feature Eraser, Undo, and Redo functions, and enable you to change the onscreen ink color and thickness via the Painter toolbar.
A Variety of Templates
You can use the interactive function with over 100 preinstalled templates, including graphs, graphic organizers, plain color, and more.
Multi-Pen Capable
Students can interact with the onscreen content with up to six interactive pens.
Windows Multitouch
Windows 8.1/10 multitouch allows users with touch-enabled Windows 8.1/10 systems to operate the computer directly from the interactive screen with up to six pens or touches, including Windows 8.1/10 gesture.
StarBoard Interactive Presentation Software (SBS)
Maxell's included SBS provides a customizable interface and toolbar to help streamline your workflow and improve production.
Accentualizer
This technology helps make images appear more real by enhancing sharpness, gloss, and shade. You can also adjust the effects by three levels according to your surroundings so that the colors of projected images are closer to the actual colors of the objects they represent.
HDCR2 (High Dynamic Contrast Range)
Using HDCR2, blurred images caused by room lighting or outside light sources are corrected, and auto tone and color enhancements are made, helping to make images appear clearer, even in bright rooms.
ImageCare Technology
ImageCare is a lamp power control function that combines optimal picture performance with maximum energy savings by decreasing energy usage, improving contrast ratio, and lengthening lamp life. The result is a lower total cost of ownership and a decreased maintenance cost.
Image Optimizer
The Image Optimizer is designed to automatically adjust HDCR and Accentualizer to augment visibility as lamp brightness dims over time.
Intelligent Eco and Saver Modes
Automatically change the brightness of the lamp according to the brightness level of the screen. Also, automatically change the brightness of the lamp if there is no change in the screen image. Using ImageCare technology, these features give optimal picture performance with maximum energy savings.
MHL Connectivity
Mobile High-Definition (MHL) lets you mirror your phone/tablet screen with the projector via a compatible HDMI cable, and works with all apps.
Perfect Fit 2
Perfect Fit 2 provides vertical and horizontal digital correction of either barrel or pincushion distortions by enabling you to adjust individual corners and sides independent of one another. This helps correct geometric and complicated distortions, allowing the projected image to fit correctly to the screen.
Optional Finger Touch Module
An optional finger-touch module enables the projector to detect finger-touch activity on the screen area, letting you annotate and interact with the presented material without using the interactive pen.
Smart Device Control
Inputting the optional USB wireless adapter and using the dedicated Maxell app allows you to control the projector from your tablet or smartphone.
