Nice small and light grip

There are not many after-market hand grips out there for the Fuji XT100. The Meike MK-XT100G seems to fit better than the grips offerred on Ebay. This one is small and light but still provides a good holding experience of the camera. The Ebay grips kind of extend out further than the camera (on the right side of camera) which didn't look very comfortable to hold. Overall, really like this Meike grip which gives me a firm hold of the camera with small to larger lenses.

Nice addition for tripod use and better hand holding

I specifically purchased this for use on a tripod head because I wanted to solve two problems: Move the center of axial movement towards the middle of the lens mount, and to have a quick release plate that also provides access to the battery and SD card when needed. The X-T100 has an offset tripod screw bushing, meaning even the smallest QR plate I own fouls the door for the battery and SD card. If these are the only issues you're trying to solve, then don't hesitate to buy this. As a grip, however, it feels a little ridiculous. There's a bit of space between the grip and the front of the camera body, but not enough where I think the optional plastic grip that comes in the box with the camera should be, which I never have attached to my X-T100. It also feels a bit awkward, but, again, I like hand-holding the X-T100 and large manual-focus lenses without a grip at all, so you may want to try this for yourself. (And my apologies if you think this part of my review isn't terribly useful, but, again, I did buy this with a specific purpose in mind.)
