It is very helpful, works as expected. I've only used it with strap but I can tell it can be even more useful with the belt/backpack mount, that way you might be able to use only one hand instead of two.
I've had my Canon EF Lens kit for a few years now, and it's an indispensable companion when I'm out and about. However, I just upgraded to a Canon R5m2, and am starting to trade up my EF lenses for RF mounts. I'm sad that I can't use it anymore. Please, Peak Design, pretty please, bring back the lens kit, and add an RF option!
