ViewSonic VX2776-4K-mhd Reviews
Burn In, Defects Inside the Screen, Large Smudged Areas
The day after I set up the monitor I noticed large type across the image I was working on in Photoshop. The screen had burn in from large dark text which was on the browser overnight. To get rid of it I made a jpg file of pure white the pixel size of the monitor and used it as the desktop background. It is necessary to not show any desktop icons, as these will also burn in to the screen. Next I noticed that I repeatedly went to touch up spots on images in Photoshop that were not there. There were multiple small chip defects inside the screen. Finally, large dark blotches started to form inside the screen which I cannot get rid of. I will return the monitor to the manufacturer and will try another brand.
The monitor has been working very well for me. I love the 4k and how easy it is to see everything.
Excellent quality office monitors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these for my home office. The picture and build quality are excellent, especially for the price. Mine had minimal backlight bleed and no dead or stuck pixels. Highly recommended! #sweepstakes
LOVE OUR MONITORS!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered 4 and are very pleased! So glad we came across your product. So much more for our money and the quality is fantastic!
Well done, budget friendly 4k
Perfect for my work from home office / coding needs. Clear, crisp, looks great paired with Mac and slightly reduced resolution working in Retina mode. Sleek design and sturdy feel.
ViewSonic again and no regrets...!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use ViewSonic and bought one after quite some time and no regrets...! Working from home during Covid-19 pandemic, need a bigger and better screen. Quick research resulted in narrowing down ViewSonic monitors in general and VX2776-4K-mhd in particular, it suited my need and budget. Plus points are, ready to use out of box and easy to setup, bright screen and lively colors. Only not so positive point so far is the response time.
i wouldn't recommend
if your getting this because of the HDR capabilities DON'T. when a show cuts to commercial or a bright, or when watching cartoons. the FRC (fake HDR) overworks the graphics card & causes the screen to drop picture for a frame or 2, tried switching refresh rate didn't fix the flicker, turned off HDR solved the problem. if you want a 4k monitor with 8-bit color this is perfectly fine. but this thing dropped picture from just watching something i cant begin to imagine once you start color grading footage. I'm returning it ASAP
Get ready for pain
I spent 2 hours trying to get the color correct. You either get saturated and dark or flat and dull. There is not much in between. I tested both display port and also hdmi... between windows and nvidias controls, I tinkered with everything to no avail. Sorry, this is a mis for sure!
