Tiny and easy to carry but..

It’s difficult to change the scalpel blade on this knife. It does not load like normal scalpel handles. I use swann morton blades and this knife does not want to accept them unless i lift up the part of the knife that secures the scalpel while pushing in the blade. On top of that, it needs to be open about halfway to a precise spot for the blade to go all the way in. I can easily load other scalpel handles with two hands, or one hand if buttressing the handle. This thing seems to expect three hands for easy blade replacement. May be other brand blades are easier... they say the swann mortons are the best. I love most of my nitecore products and want to love this one but i hardly use it for this reason. It is lightweight and strong, fwiw.

It is smaller than I expected, which I liked. a small tool that you will use everyday.
