What are the dimensions of the opening?
What are the dimensions of the opening?
The answer isn't a simple diameter because the opening is too small to form a truly round shape when installed on the cart. It can hold a round tripod tube that is 9 inches maximum in diameter--and the shape of the resulting opening still allows for a couple of mid/small size stands to slip in the corners. Someone listed the dimensions as 21 x 17 x 2 inches. The 17 inches is approximately the width of the bag when stretched flat. I use it for a tripod in a soft padded bag that is 8 X 8 inch with a square profile. It works well for this. My 10x10 inch soft tripod bag could just jam in but was so snug it was really hard to extract it.

Can we use this bag in the back handle?
Can we use this bag in the back handle?
Yes, and it works great. You can really fill it up. However, two things. One, there is a flimsy plastic plate on the bottom of the inside. You should reenforce it. I used a piece of foam. Two, it would work best on a bigger cart. I have a R8 cart and it dragged on the ground causing a rip in the bottom of the bag. I bought the R12 and I have no issues at all.
