Is this strong enough to be used with tilta grips to support a 35lb camera kit?
Although aluminum rods are sturdy enough for support, overtime, they will thin out and attachments will not latch properly. Stainless steel and titanium are materials that you buy for life. Also, using 19mm rods is recommended for any kind of zoom lens and you will not get any play, unlike 15mm rods on heavier builds.
