The collar end is tapped, but not with 1/4-20 or 3/8-16. What is the spec of that tap?
From our measurements in the store with a caliper, it seems to be unthreaded and approximately 0.34" in diameter.

Is this pin threaded to receive a 1/4 -10 double end spigot? Trying to solve attaching a Amran/Apurture LED panel.
No, the hole on the bottom of the Impact 6.0" Pin is not threaded, and will not accommodate a spigot or an adapter.
Please contact us at [email protected] or the B&H Photo lighting department for more information about connecting your Amran Aperture LED panel.

question
I tried to use this on a c-stand with my elinchrom D-Lite 400W/s RX 4 Flash Head but the head does not fit on it properly. I bought the elinchrom in a bundle that included light stands. The elinchrom fits on the light stand perfectly. Now, I want to put the flash head on my c-stand. What are the proper attachments to do this to connect it to a c-stand?I bought the following products:<a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1086351-REG/elinchrom_el_20842_2_d_lite_rx_4_2_light.html target= _blank >http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1086351-REG/elinchrom_el_20842_2_d_lite_rx_4_2_light.html</a><a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/372016-REG/Impact_CT40MKIT_Master_Century_C_Stand.html target= _blank >http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/372016-REG/Impact_CT40MKIT_Master_Century_C_Stand.html</a>Thanks.
What do you mean isn't fitting correctly ? That can mean a lot of different things to different people. Industry standard is 5/8 , so unless you're trying to put your strobe on the wrong end of the pin or you aren't loosening up the set screw enough, it should fit fine.
