Scope Cap Perfection

I'm picky! The Kahles optics are precision and gloriously refined scopes. I want zero dust, grit, or smudges degrading this premium optical glass of the Kahles 525i DLR scope. This same 56mm diameter lens cap was also bought for my Kahles 624i scope. These caps, made in Canada by Tenebraex, are perfectly fitted and fully functional. The scope cap can be disassembled from its adaptor ring and the cap/ring snapped onto the Tenebraex Flash Kill honeycomb shade of 56mm diameter. Just a hint: depending on the distance between the front objective of your Kahles scope and the rail or receiver beneath the scope, you might want to screw-on the Kahles Scope Cap before mounting the scope in scope rings or a one-piece mount. The clearance between my Kahles scope's front objective and the rifle's top rail is too narrow a clearance to screw-on the scope cap after mounting the scope to the Spuhr 4616. Add the scope cap to the scope and then mount the scope to the mounts/rings on the rifle.
