Kodak Professional Hypo Clearing Agent promotes the removal of fixer from both film and paper and helps to shorten final rinse times. This powder washing aid contains enough chemistry to make one gallon of stock solution, which should then be diluted 1:4 to make a total of five gallons of working solution.

I like this product for long term storage in premixed state as opposed to liquids. It is the old reliable. I am not in the darkroom all the time, so I like keeping a few packs of powder versions of my basics. If I was in the darkroom a lot, maybe I would use other brands. At school I was happy with SPRINT because they are a bit less toxic, but I am still here after 50 years, so I guess it is okay. Plus I am nostalgic about having "Old Yellow" here! I use this with a few oz of Selenium added based on my Ansel Adams books.....
I try to use as few products in my processes as possible. This saves water and accomplishes that.
