Is this "B Series Battery Plate" mean the Sony BP-U battery format as used by the Sony FX6, FX9 and FS7 cameras?

No, the Teradek Ace Battery Plate for Sony B Series would not be compatible with the Teradek Ace 750 Wireless Video Transmitter. Teradek doesn't have a B series battery plate for the Teradek Ace 750, but the Teradek L-Bracket Battery Adapter Plate for Canon LP-E6 & Sony L-Series Batteries, BH #TE110848, would be compatible with L series batteries.
