Decent product but it's a cheap power cable they supply.

The idea for this is great but the power cable they supply doesn't actually insert all the way and is very finicky. Im honestly bummed on it. For a $100 I expected the cable to sit flush and feel sturdy. Kind of a joke and no way reliable for onset shooting.

No, the Teradek L-Bracket Battery Adapter Plate for Canon LP-E6 & Sony L-Series Batteries is not compatible with the Teradek Bolt 500 3G-SDI Video Transmitter. The Bolt 500 has a 2-pin power input. You would need the Teradek Dual Direct Mount Battery Plate for L-Series and LP-E6 Batteries (https://bhpho.to/3Pge5M5).

Is this item including both plates for Sony and Canon battery? Does it mean it comes in 2 options?

It is a single plate that in one direction has contacts for the Sony battery and in the other direction contacts for the Canon battery. You can use either an NP-F style battery or LP-E6.

How long will it run on a single battery?

That will depend on the battery you use. This can work with LP-E6 batteries, which come in only one size or NP-F style batteries that range in size. If you are using the smallest option for an LP-E6 you might get 90 minutes or so. If you use a full size NP-F970 you could get hours of run time.

The plate comes with a power connector with two male jacks - a 5.5x2.1 and a thinner one. Does anyone know the dimensions?

The other connector is a 3.5mmx1.35mm. The wire from the 5.5x2.1 dc connector can be poorly soldered to the jack. If this happens, I recommend cutting the plastic cover, and reconnect the wires, using a solder gun.
