Will this insert accommodate a pro-sized DSLR like a Canon 1Dx-Mark III without a lens attached?
No, the Domke J-Series End Pocket Insert 3 x 7 x 7" (Gray/Green) is a touch too small for a Canon 1D X Mark III.

Thanks fr your previous response regarding whther this insert can accommodate a Canon 1Dx Mark III. It won't fit that camera, so is there an alternative you alternative insert can suggest? Any brand will do. It doesn't have to be a Domke item.
You could use a wrap like the Domke 19x19" Color Coded Protective Wrap (Black)

Will this fit into the ends of a f2 bag with the 4 slot insert?
I have an F6 (Little Bit Smaller) bag and have one in either side. They are flexible so can squish in to fit, and have found that, over time, they are conforming to the shape of my two Fuji bodies. I just looked at my old F2. It looks like you could put these inserts on both ends with the 4-slot insert. I don't think that there'd be room for bodies with lenses though, just bodies.
