SLIK 615-311 Overview

This Short Center Column replaces the standard column on the 300DX tripod. This allows the user to take full advantage of the variable leg spread on these units, so that you are not inhibited by the length of the column as to how low you can go. The 300DX can now go down to as low as 14" (35.6 cm).

Ideal for low angle work.

I wanted to be able to get my camera right down close to the ground on my tripod. I will be able to get right down to the level of most short flowers.

What is the outer diameter and height of this item in mm please. I want to check and see if i can replace it with the center column on my old slik 500G tripod?

We do not have this item in stock or in our store so we cannot measure it exactly. We did our best to measure a similar center column from a 300DX Tripod and it comes out to an outer diameter of 1.06 (27 mm). The length is unknown, but we guess it is about 6 (152.4 mm). That dimension would be best answered by the manufacturer if you decide to call them to confirm it.
