Inspired by this legendary mix compressor from the 1980s, the Solid Compressor delivers user-friendly operability and tone-enhancing harmonics.
A wet/dry mix knob allows easy parallel compression in an instant with no complicated routing. Use the Warp control to add third-order harmonic distortion when you need extra grit, crunch, or overdrive. A switchable sidechain with an adjustable high-pass filter ensures that you can properly trigger the Solid Compressor without it being pushed too hard by strong bass energy. You'll also find traditional controls including threshold, attack, release, and make-up gain to help you optimize the compression characteristics. A classic-style VU meter displays gain reduction at all times, so the amount of compression is clearly visible at a glance. The Solid Compressor is compatible with Mac and Windows systems, and supports AAX, Audio Units, and VST plug-in formats.
