Lenovo P53s 15.6" Overview

The 15.6" ThinkPad P53s Multi-Touch Mobile Workstation from Lenovo is created for designers, engineers, and artists who require the power of a workstation with laptop mobility. It's powered by a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core processor, 16GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM, and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P520 graphics card with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. For storage, it's equipped with a 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe Opal2 solid-state drive. If you need more space, you can connect external storage solutions using its two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, single 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port over USB Type-C, single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, and single microSD card reader.

Its 15.6" multi-touch display features a 1920 x 1080 resolution and is built with an anti-glare IPS panel that delivers a wide viewing angle of 170°, and a brightness of 250 nits. To extend or mirror your display, you can do so with this workstation's HDMI 1.4b port or its DisplayPort compatible Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type-C ports. When you want to access the internet, you can do so wirelessly with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) or you can opt for a wired connection with its Gigabit Ethernet port. Additionally, the ThinkPad P53s has Bluetooth 5.0 built-in, which lets you pair compatible wireless peripherals when you want to free up USB ports.

Other integrated features include a 720p webcam with a ThinkShutter privacy cover, dual-array far-field microphones, Dolby Audio stereo speakers, a backlit keyboard, and a combo audio jack. Its 3-cell / 57Wh battery will last for up to 14 hours and is compatible with Rapid Charge technology when charged with the included 65W USB Type-C power adapter. The operating system installed is Windows 10 Pro (64-Bit).

Because Getting Hacked Would Be Horrible
Built-in security features protect your business-critical info. Default discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) encrypts data and works in conjunction with Windows 10 security features. ThinkShutter, a physical camera cover, blocks the lens to ensure that you're only seen when you want to be. An embedded fingerprint reader uses biometrics to log you in with a simple touch.

Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. The Pro version of Windows 10 includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications.
