Nice and tight so that it doesn't slip off camera when loading and unloading into my backpack is awesome! Installation was easy. I was worried about it slipping off all the time but I haven't even needed to adjust it yet. I have a skin on the lens already, but I wanted some extra padding because I'm kinda rough with my camera and lens and camo pattern is better than the skins. Its been holding up these last couple of weeks since I've gotten it, so I'm happy.

I rated this four stars not because it is a bad product it isn't it was just extremely hard to put on, once on everything is fine but it is tough getting on particularly onto the hood.

especially on zoom lenses that have internal zoom like the Sony 200-600mm. Definitely helps to protect it. I guess I'm giving it 4 stars, though, because of price. Buy it on sale. Surprised there are no knockoffs on the market for $30... Recommended.

Decided on this purchase only as a protection for my lens against scratch, knocks and bumps and so far it has served it's purpose well. The coat is easy to install and the fitting is good. Material used to make it also feels good to the touch.

I use this to avoid nicks and stratches and it does pretty good at that but it's snug enough and so they are moving too much in comparison to the other big lenses. They should be a little tighter.

Just returned from sub-freezing temps photographing in Yellowstone. The LensCoat Lens Cover made handling my Sony 200-600 much more comfortable-no more holding ultra-cold metal. It also provided nice texture for gripping with gloved hands. I admit installing it was not as easy as represented. It's not just a little stretching & pulling-it takes time & lots of finger strength to pull, stretch & position it. Some progress was as little as 1/8" each stretch. Ultimately, it was worth it, but I won't be removing it any time soon!
