Is there a way to rig the case to make it fit with the grip? I bought the case, installed the grip & now must decide whether to remove the grip to fit the case or use the camera with grip & place it in a larger case.

I have the DSC-RX100 VA. I know you can’t use the AG-R2 grip on the camera because it won’t fit in the case. Has anyone added the AG-R2 to the outside of the Sony case lower half? The grip might need to be trimmed but if it isn’t redneck then maybe beneficial.
I feel it will be really hard to glue that to the case.
And the material and shape of the case is not really best for that.
