The KD-FIX418A supports 18 Gb/s video streams up to 12-bit 4:4:4 UHD/4Kp30 and 8-bit 4:4:4 UHD/4Kp60. It also features 3.5mm analog stereo and digital PCM outputs for de-embedding audio from the HDMI stream for alternate audio destinations.
The unit features a buffer system that manages HDCP 2.2, EDID management, TDMS reclocking, and signal re-generation, as well as supporting ARC pass-through and CEC pass-through. Supported color profiles include HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and audio profiles include lossless, compressed Dolby TrueHD, Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Atmos. Viewing the unit's status and various control functions is performed using the RS-232 input. There is also a Link LED to indicate that a stream is active. Power the unit with the included USB to micro-USB cable or by the separately available KD-PS5V1ASC power supply.
