Can I connect a card reader and external hard drive to the port and then read card content directly to the external hard drive through my computer without first downloading to the computer?
Asked by: tom
It can be done but the power from this USB hub may not be enough to power your external hard drive. You generally would want a AC powered USB hub. Something ilke: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1496361-REG/xcellon_sh4_3h1hc_2_4_port_powered_usb_3_0.html
