Beautiful B&W paper with a white base and no sheen. Drawback is the paper often is on back ordered. If used for a project make sure that you have adequate stock.

Love Bergger!

I have used the Bergger COT papers for alt process and decided to try this for film printing. It is working wonderfully.

Is this paper difficult to flatten after development? Can it be used with Ilford filters and developer?

Once dried, pressing them between 2 heavy books should take care of the curl for the most part.

It is a sepia tone image. I would recommend this Photographer's Formulary toner: https://bhpho.to/3BGm6AR

Does this paper require all the extra filters?
Asked by: Barbara
I would recommend filters to control contrast, yes. I just printed with it today for the first time and find it to be much, much slower than the Ilford matt I had been using. I printed the same negative on both papers- F.16 at 30 seconds on Ilford and F.8 at 30 seconds on Bergger to receive the same results. It appears to be a very good quality paper, however.

question

How does this tone? Say selenium for tinting?
Asked by: Rita D.
Toning of this paper is just a light touch of warm (I like very much). This is not Linda greenish like the package shows.
