I've had my MSP 16 for a little over a month now and before I purchased it from B&H I didn't realize it was noreturnable . This device has been a nightmare. It' overheats and restarts even after all updates. When I first turn the device on the fan makes a really annoying buzzying sound and if you pick the device up the buzzying sound pitch changes. I'm an artist so it took a very very long time to save up for this thing and with all the bugs and headache I Don't recommend it. There's a reason B&H is not letting us return these and it's because most of the devices are bad and defective adn they probably don't want to deal with that. Sucks for us

Love it! Handy device

I love it! Very handy for Art and Graphic work, including Video Editing, a nice addition to my setup. I highly recommend purchasing a stand and a wireless keyboard to go along with it, or if you have a multiple PC setup, Symless Synergy removes the need of getting a keyboard as you can use your other pc's keyboard and mouse, though if you go the Synergy route, it's best to add a USB-C to Ethernet converter to connect the PCs via Ethernet, especially since Wi-Fi are extremely unreliable for that job.

Too many problems for such an expensive device

It's a fairly descent device but has a few downsides It heats up very quickly, I expected that a computer at this cost would perform better and have a better cooling system. My Wacom pen started having issues after 8 month and now I can't use it at all because its stuck on press mode even if when I'm not touching the screen. Overall I'm disappointed from this product.

Defective...

Hasn't run correctly since I started using it. I had a big project so my back was up against the wall. So after a series of freezes, crashes and restarts, I barley squeaked out my project. I have been trying to work with Wacom to fix the issue. Three factory resets later, I was told my ONLY option, because I bought it with B&H, was to send it in to be worked on. DO NOT buy this. Nothing... photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere works on this without freezing and crashing. So... we now know Wacom doesn't stand firm by their product... will B&H stand by the fact they sold be a defective product?

Great idea; terrible execution

I really, really want to like this. A portable Cintiq I can take anywhere?  Ever since I bought this, Ive regretted the purchase. Painter crashes it constantly. One day it crashed 15 times (I had to get some work out the door). I sent it in for repairs, and I had to wait weeks for it to return. Now today the laptop stopped charging the battery. Sending it back in!  Ive owned this less than 9 months. For a $3000 laptop, I would expect much higher quality and service than this.

Does it work with Capture One Pro? Can this ...

Does it work with Capture One Pro? Can this device and its pen interface be used with other non-photographic applications?
Asked by: Lyman
The answer by staff is technically correct. However, it depends on the specifics of the software rather than the hardware. I have a 4 year old version of the MobileStudio Pro, and I find that with my browser, and even with some of the Adobe software, some tasks are better suited to using a wireless mouse because the software doesn't always recognize pen inputs. I have a cordless optical mouse by Tecknet which I switch to when necessary as well as a bluetooth keyboard. If you're talking about MS Excel, for example, you'll definitely want the mouse and keyboard. Not all software has completely caught up with all the different touch and pen devices currently available on the market. As I said, the staff answer is correct as far as hardware goes, but beware the difference between a hardware issue and a software issue.
