Should this be hot ( really hot ), when system is sleeping?
MacBook is in sleep mode but NAS is running, but with no file transfer should it be hot?
This adapter can be on even if the computer looks to be in sleep mode. It can be doing updates and other work in the background. They can get pretty warm, but should not get too hot.
