Acebil Prosumer Tripod Dolly Reviews
Amazing Dolly / Terrible Casters
Well built, very intuitive dolly. Provides a lovely platform to mount any type of tripod onto it (spikes or not). The one point of frustration are the casters that come with it. Very small, and not a total lock mechanism, meaning the wheels are still able to turn about their mounting thread when locked. Luckily it is very to upgrade. The caster stem is 3/8" wide and should be at least 1.5 inches long. These are the ones I ordered and they are perfect: https://shop.servicecaster.com/3-8-inch-threaded-stem-caster-5-in-poly-total-lock-p/scc-tsttl20s514-ppub-381615-m.htm Enjoy
Pretty legit for the price
So we use this product to pop a tripod on for digital teching. I put my Eizo or Seaport on a tripod, then mount the tripod on the wheels for ease in studio and locations with paved ground. Saves my back moving around different rooms during the course of a shoot. The legs of the dolly do not extend out for a farther spread, which I suppose is my only complaint. My tripod would be a little more sturdy if the legs of the dolly could expand just two inches on each leg, but I have not had any spills yet. Fairly leightweight, no carry case but I used an old one. Rolls very smoothly and is super easy to set up and tear down.
