The 18" BladeLight Daylight LED Light with DMX from FloLight is a unique linear array of high power LEDs that uses a movable lens to offer the user a choice of 20, 60, or 120-degree beam angles. The fixture has two built-in channels that run the length of the fixture. Sliding the lens into the top channel will give you a 20-degree spot light, while placing it in the middle channel creates a 60-degree beam spread. By removing the lens completely you'll get a wide, 120-degree flood light. FloLight also includes a cut-to-size Lee 810 Zircon diffusion filter for extra soft light. Built-in barndoors offer another path to light shaping from wide coverage to the narrowest slit to suit your subject's requirements. The included Double Ball Mount supports 25 lb and allows easy horizontal positioning for wrap-around light, as well as vertical positioning for use as a key, fill, or accent light. Multiple units can be attached end to end or side-by-side to create a larger fixture.
The BladeLight has a daylight color temperature of 5600K to blend in seamlessly with ambient light conditions outdoors, or to match other daylight fixtures. FloLight includes Full and 1/8 CTO filters to integrate the light in tungsten-dominated scenarios. The light's high CRI rating of 96 is a testament to the light's advanced precision in the rendering of colors. Light intensity is variable too from 10 to 100%. While you can make these adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also do it remotely from a console via DMX or wirelessly with an iOS/Android Bluetooth app.
The BladeLight runs on 100 to 240 VAC current for worldwide use via its power supply but it will also run on batteries with separate purchase of a V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plate.
