Yes, the DRSPACE8000 Space Light would be suitable for lighting a cyc from about 16 feet height. However, more than one may be needed depending on the width of your cyc.

What are the dimensions (total height) of this with the diffuser cloth attached to the bottom of the light?
The manufacture does not list the length with the diffuser, With out the diffuser the unit is 4.14 inches. The cloth is about 14.49 inches. So, the full height with the cloth is approxemelty 18.63 inches.
