The F970 battery-powered Tiltaing Side Power Handle Type I from Tilta adds several functions to your half or full Tiltaing camera cage. When paired with a separately available cable, it provides power for a Nucleus-Nano motor using its 8V micro-USB port. This Tilta gray handle features a 12V port, an integrated holder for a Samsung T5 SSD, and a rubberized surface for a secure grip. It slides onto the Tiltaing cage and includes a hand strap.

Great tool for running focus motors

I use this with a Sony FX3, Tilta Nucleus Nano 2 and focus motor. Battery lasts pretty much all day event shooting powering the wheel and motor. I do wish it could talk to the camera successfully. I have never been able to get that to work. I also wish the second USB port was useful. I haven't found anything that can be powered by it and the sony should be able to talk to it but I can't seem to get that to work either. From a power perspective it works but it WILL NOT power your FX3 which is a bit silly in my opinion. The strap is nice and does help me run longer with it. The ergonomics of the grip is really good assuming you have large hands. I typically wear L/XL gloves.

The Tilta Tiltaing Side Power Handle Type I (F970, Tilta Gray) is designed for the Tilta cages designed for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k Pro. You should get about 2 hours of power out of it.

The battery in the handle is meant to be used to power a Tilta Nucleus Nano motor. The fingerwheel controls said motor. The USB-C on the camera is then free to be used for the Samsung T5.

The USB-C connector goes into the SSD itself, not the handle, so there should be no issues.

Yes, this handle is compatible with the BMPCC 4K/6K camera cage. It slides into the bottom of the cage.

They do not, that is a Sony BP-U style battery. This product uses Sony NP-F style batteries. Instead you would need a battery like the Watson NP-F975. https://bhpho.to/2ht4JKV
