    The bag is a good size for me D500. I can have one lens attached and a second one also in the main compartment with plenty of room for filters, batteries and accessories. The molle points help with attaching pouches for additional storage. The zippers and compartments work smoothly. The padding and design seem well thought out and well built. My only complaints are the main logo badging was sewn on upside down (attached photo). It didn't compromise the functions so not worth trying to return. The only other issue, is minor. The neck strap at the top of the bag is very wide for me and kind of pushes the bag into an awkward position unless I connect the stabilization strap as well. I think its something I can live with but not ideal for me.

    I was hoping this would be a modular/tactical version of the old LowePro slingshot slings which are great compact bags but wear out quickly. The first issue with this sling is the strap comes straight out the top! That throws the whole thing off to one side and causes it to sit low/awkward. The bag itself rides on my pelvis instead of resting comfortably in lower back. Very annoying. Tightening the straps doesn't help raise it enough and only really causes the strap, which is rough, to really dig into your neck. Look at any other sling: their straps come out at an angle. There's a reason for that!! The overall capacity of this bag is a joke. It can barely fit a 5d with 24-105 lens in the main compartment, unless you put it in sideways and thus waste any extra space that dividers may have provided. The top flap opens up into the main compartment, which is just stupid and limits what you can actually do with it. Should have been separate compartments. The overall construction is great. The molle system is great. It seems very sturdy. BUT the design/implementation was a failure. Even with all the pockets and molle options, I struggle to fit the same gear from the equivalent sized LowePro sling into the freelance just because of the poor layout of this thing. My search continues for a good, sturdy, modular/molle equipped camera sling bag. Really disappointed with this one.

    Yes, the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Camera would fit inside the Hazard 4 Freelance Photo and Drone Tactical Sling-Pack (Black). Depending on the orientation of the camera and the Canon BG-R10 Battery Grip, it will fit inside the case.

    Will a Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 fit by itself? The lens is 8" long, and I see the compartment is 13x6.7x5.7", but it's hard to tell which directions those go.

    Unfortunately, the Hazard 4 Freelance Photo and Drone Tactical Sling-Pack cannot accept the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 Lens on its own.

    Yes you would have more than enough room for an R5 and a battery grip as well, you may just need to move the dividers around to customize how you want it to fit.
