Yes, you can attach wired remotes to your camera and set them up outside the Ruggard DSLR Parka Cold and Rain Protector.
This is a great accessory to protect your camera against the elements regardless of the camera weather seal condition. It helps your camera maintain its heat so the battery don't drain as fast. This product also protects against rain, dust and mud.

Will this work with a smaller mirrorless camera such as an Olympus OMD EM1 or is it too large?
From our experiences and reported customer reviews, it works best on medium/larger DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. The main factor for comfort and utility would be the overall size of the lens. Smaller ones on a mirrorless system might make the user feel like the camera is engulfed in the DSLR Parka.

Yes, the Ruggard DSLR Parka Cold and Rain Protector for Cameras and Camcorders (Black) (B&H# RUPACLBV2) can handle any Canon DSLR or mirrorless photographic camera currently made (as of December 2021) with the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens (B&H# CA70300ISII) mounted on it. (The mirrorless camera would presumably have an adapter on it as well.)
