LG 27MD5KLB-B Reviews
Best Decision I've Made
I studied specs and reviews for hours on end before making this purchase to pair with my new MacBook M2 Max. I actually prefer this display over the 27 iMac 5k display I was accustomed to. Colors are spot on and the extra ports on back work flawlessly. I compared to the BenQ and others, but this was the winner. No regrets.
Great monitor for editing pictures
I purchased this monitor to edit pictures on a Mac through Lightroom- the color is excellent. The set up was easy and the ability to work with a second monitor makes the process so much easier.
Best available option for Mac
I'd originally planned on buying the recently-released Apple Studio Display, but decided to pass given its price, lack of a height-adjustable stand for the base price, problematic operating system (why does a monitor need to run a version of iOS?!), mediocre webcam, etc. This display has a better warranty and appears to use the same LG panel as Apple's display, and is less expensive.
Yes expensive...but worth it!
This is quality monitor and should be considered for those desiring a 5k experience that pairs well with a Mac mini. Colors are true. I really like the ability to adjust the viewing angle and height. I'm pleased and suspect you'll be also.
Super sharp. Good stand.
Very sharp. Better color than the first LG I got. Also, better viewing angle. First LG (not a 5k) had poor viewing angle that resulted in screen vignetting if I wasn't dead on 90 degrees. This does not have that issue. The stand allows the monitor to go 7 above the top of the stand base. Nice to have the higher range. No ghosting of items on the screen. Had monitor about three weeks now. So far so good. Comes fully assembled. Just lift out of the box and turn it on.
Best monitor I've ever had
