The 0.5" Counterweight attaches to any CineMilled PRO Dovetail Plate and adds 3.4 oz for balancing a camera or lens on your gimbal. It features both a 3/8"-16 male and female mount and can be stacked with additional 0.5" or other size versions. It can also be used with the CineMilled Ronin PAN Balance Counterweight Mount.

These weights are great. Same concept Tiffen tried for they amateur line of steadicam gear over a decade ago... (where they stack so you can add as many as you need, with male threading on one end and female on the other)...but unlike what Tiffen tends to do...they use a threading standard that people actually use! (yes, this is a huge slight on Tiffen...I hate that...glad they finally adopted standard rod sizes for their current pro steadicam rigs). Anyway, these are great. I've got several brass 3/8-16 to 1/4-20 adapters b/c some plates like the W-C DSCM 1-2 era plates are very 1/4-20 heavy. Those work great to get these weights wherever you need.
This counterbalance weight is stackable, meaning you can screw another one to the bottom if you need more weight. I’ve had several products from cinemilled and they have all been great thought out products.
