Connect your DCX Series KVM Switch to your network from a distance using the DCX VGA and USB Server Access Module for DCX Series KVM Switch from Black Box. The Server Access Module (SAM) transmits VGA, USB, and USB audio signals to your DCM KVM Matrix. It connects to the server through its male VGA and USB connectors and to the switch using a shielded Ethernet cable up to 164' long. The SAM supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and is interface-powered via USB. It may be used as a digital extender with the DCX3000-DVR.
Compatibility
The DCX Server Access module must be connected with a shielded Cat X cable (Cat 6a/7 recommended) and works with:
- DCX3000 Digital KVM Matrix Switch (DCX1000)
- DCX3000 Digital KVM Matrix Switch (DCX3000)
- DCX3000 Digital KVM Remote User Station (DCX3000-DVR)
