This cap fits the Nikon 16 mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens either with or without the Nikon $50 slip-on lens cap in place. It's best use is for not loosing that expensive little lens cap while your walking around not paying attention to the lens cap. It also fits the lens without the cap in place, protecting that bulbous front element from light dings and scratches. The Lens Maze is thin, lightweight silicone that stretches to fit this lens either way. It will not protect the lens from major dings. The Nikon 16 mm FE is 60 mm in diameter without the lens cap and 67 mm with the lens cap. It fits either way.
