The Movo Photo BWS1000 is a blimp windshield and shockmount system designed to significantly reduce noise from wind, shock, and vibration for sound recordists, boom operators, and videographers using shotgun microphones. It is sized to hold a single shotgun mic up to 15" long and between 19 and 22mm in diameter.
Thanks to the BWS1000's blimp capsule, 12-point shockmount, and internal XLR cable, you can get your mic set up easily and quickly. The zippered dead cat furry windshield slips over the blimp for up to 40 dB of additional wind noise attenuation. Whether you want to hold it or mount it on a boompole or tripod, the BWS1000 is equally well suited for the task. A carrying case is included for safe and simple transport of the whole system.

Purchased and brought for a shoot in Norway. Transported it unopened. Upon removing it from it's box, I discovered the wires to the male xlr end of the cable were bare and one was detached. Thankfully I have an extra cable and hopefully my hack will hold for the rest of this shoot. Amazed that the manufacturer allowed it to leave the factory in this condition.

This blimp is very smartly designed with excellent attention to detail. Construction is also good but not that strong, I would use it with TLC. I tested it in cold, high wind weather with a pro condenser mic and the zoom f6 recorder and I am pleased with its performance.
