Movo Photo HB-2 Overview

Well suited for videographers, vloggers, and mobile journalists, the Movo Photo HB-2 is a dual shoe riser bracket designed to elevate your camera shoe and accommodate multiple accessories. The two cold shoe mounts accept common devices such as mic clips, lights, monitors, and more.

The ABS construction is lightweight while ensuring that the HB-2 won't weigh down your camera rig. An integrated cable tab lets you keep your cable run tidy and securely in place. Use the HB-2 to keep your camera-mount accessories close by and out of the shot.

Get a camera cage and add real handles. This is really only useful for feather-light attachments. Keep your camera horizontal, or in standard orientation. This is pretty sketchy if you rotate for a portrait or social video. It starts to bend and sag a lot if you have something with a little mass like a flash or shotgun mic. On the same note, it will extend weight out in front of the camera, which make is harder to hold comfortably if you have a few extra grams on the far end. Try to keep the heavy stuff in the back.

Bought to replace the extension that came with the Tascam TM-2X microphone. It was essentially the same part.
