Movo Photo SMM100 Overview

Suspend a shotgun mic above your camera with the Microphone Shockmount with Camera Shoe & Swivel Bracket from Movo Photo. With its dual nylon suspension points, this mount is designed to isolate your mic from any handling vibrations to help you capture clean audio. Its integrated camera shoe adapter enables you to mount the shockmount onto your camera's shoe mount. Alternatively, you can use the built-in 1/4"-20 thread to mount the shockmount.

The mount accommodates microphones from 18 to 22mm in diameter and has a swivel mechanism for precise positioning. The base provides two 1/4"-20 mounting points for additional accessories.

I like how this mic mount sits down low to the camera. What I don't like is how it's pretty gangly and often comes loose. On multiple occasions I've had the cold shoe part come detached in my bag, which is often a hassle to find and limits my ability to throw my mic on quickly, which is essential for doc and currrent events filmmaking.
