The F2-221 is equipped with a 2 GHz Intel Celeron J3355 dual-core processor and 2GB of onboard memory to support smooth, fast data transfers. You can install up to 4GB of additional memory into the enclosure's available slot to help enhance efficiency.
Security
Keep your data safe with automatic scheduled backups, RAID 1 array support, and hardware-based AES encryption. Other features include a Btrfs-based snapshot system and cloud drive data backup.
Reliable Snapshots
The Btrfs file system helps to enhance data protection while preventing of data corruption. With its optimized snapshot technology, the F2-221 can support up to 512 snapshots per shared folder with a maximum of 8192 overall system snapshots.
4K Video Transcoding
With support for the DLNA protocol and live 4K H.264 transcoding, you can configure the F2-221 as a media server to stream 4K content to connected devices. The system can also be used to optimize 4K content for smooth playback on devices that don't natively support HD formats.
