Connect to the computer and receiver with the 4K DisplayPort Single Display KVM over IP Transmitter from ATEN. It is an IP-based transmitter that works with Aten's 4K DisplayPort Single Display KVM over IP Receiver to provide console access up to 328' over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. The front of the transmitter features Computer ports; a DisplayPort input, USB Type-B, a 9-pin female Sub-D AUX, and microphone and headset mini jacks. The back of the transmitter features Console ports; a LAN port, an SFP slot, a DisplayPort output, two USB Type-A KVM, a 9-pin male Sub-D AUX, and microphone and headset mini jacks. The transmitter supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz (4:4:4) and 36-bit color depth. It features dual DC power jacks, an RJ45 port, and an SFP slot for dual IP address access. The separately available 1 Gb/s SFP fiber module allows for expansion up to 6.2 miles.
Connection
The transmitter and receiver can be connected either directly to each other or via a high-speed network, over a copper-based or fiber-based LAN, ensuring 24/7 availability of remote access to servers. To connect via the SFP slot, the extender supports a separately available 1 Gb/s SFP fiber module expansion, enabling connections via fiber optic network to extend transmission distances up to 6.2 miles.
Mounting
The transmitter can be set on a desk, mounted on a wall, or at the rear of a rack with its space-saving 0U rack-mount design.
IP-Based Matrix Extender
Paired with the receiver, the IP-based matrix extender can be used as a point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, multipoint-to-multipoint extender, or integrated into a KVM over IP Matrix System (multipoint-to-multipoint) when combined with the KE Matrix Management Software (CCKM), providing more flexible applications in different working environments.
Functions
Functions include auto detection of all KE Series extenders in the same subnet for the sake of fast installation or configuration, username and password authentication and authorization, and the ability to define different types of connections that can be switched and shared. Security features also provide extra protection, supporting AES encryption for secured data transmissions, while RADIUS, LDAP, AD, or remote user authentication provides an added layer of connection security.

The KE Matrix Management Software (CCKM) allows you to easily administer all KE devices over a network, using an intuitive user-friendly web based GUI.
Boundless Switching
When paired with KE receivers and managed by KE Matrix Management Software (CCKM) simply move the mouse cursor across screen boundaries to switch between different receivers. The function speeds up the process of switching between receivers and enables immediate monitoring and management of receivers.
