JET Folded Ribbon Tweeter
The JET tweeters are designed to provide fast response and a wide dynamic range with minimal distortion and a wide frequency range.
Compound Curvature Aluminum Woofer
To achieve a seamless transition between the woofer and the JET tweeter, the compound curvature cone was engineered to control the cone breakup and move it beyond the operating range of the woofer. A large diameter voice coil and oversized vented pole piece magnet combine to provide enhanced bass dynamics and performance.

I am currently running a 3.1 system, pairing this ELAC Carina CC241.4 with a Denon AVR-X3800H receiver, ELAC Debut 3.0 DB63 as my front left/right speakers, and an SVS SB-2000 Pro subwoofer. This context is important for my review. Pure, Uncompromising Clarity - The Star of the Show The primary job of a center channel is to reproduce dialogue and on-screen action with absolute clarity, and the ELAC Carina CC241.4 doesn't just do this job—it masters it. From the moment I started using it, the difference was night and day. Dialogue in movies and TV shows, which can sometimes get lost in a complex soundtrack or background noise, is now rendered with stunning precision. Every whisper, every word of exposition, and every subtle intake of breath is delivered with a level of detail and purity that makes the content come alive. I no longer find myself reaching for the remote to adjust the volume during quiet conversations or loud action sequences; the Carina CC241.4 maintains perfect intelligibility across the board. Integration and Performance in a 3.1 System While my front speakers are the capable ELAC Debut DB63, the Carina CC241.4 is clearly in a higher class. Its 3-way design, with a dedicated JET 5 folded ribbon tweeter, ensures that the critical mid-range frequencies where human speech resides are handled with exceptional finesse and without distortion. My Denon AVR-X3800H's room correction (Audyssey) did an excellent job of seamlessly blending the sonic characteristics of the Carina center with the Debut front speakers.
