Yes, and it also fits the 70-200 Z if you want a smaller hood on that lens for bump protection.

Does it work/fit on the RF-135 F1.8?
Asked by: John
As Sean & Belinda noted, I also have the 135 and the 24-70 hood fits as if it was factory intended. Same button, solid locking detent and fit. I read somewhere where the 135's hood was repurposed by Canon from a long telephoto, and it looks intimidating to both subject and public. I landed here only to see I'm not alone. The EW-88E protects the lens from impact without looking ridiculous, both 135/1.8 and 24-70/2.8.

Is this hood interchangeable with the EW-83L that came with my 24-70 f4L that is now discontinued?
Asked by: Chris
Hi, that lens hood isn't compatible with the 24-70mm f/4 lens, which has a 77mm diameter; the EW-88E is for the RF 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, which has an 82mm diameter, so that hood is too big. This lens hood is compatible with the 24-70mm f/4 lens: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1025369-REG/vello_lhc_ew83l_ew_83l_dedicated_lens_hood.html
