The live edition, black Model 2 High-Res Onstage In-Ear Monitors from ADVANCED AUDIO GROUP are designed to deliver 24-bit/96 kHz audio and produce frequencies over 40 kHz making them an essential part of the high-resolution listening experience. They utilize professionally tuned, Super Wideband micro-dynamic drivers from the popular Model 3 and can be used to deliver warm and rich high-resolution audio.

The monitors' lightweight, ergonomic design sits in your ear and provides you with comfort in long listening sessions, while the over-ear memory hook securely holds the Model 2 in place. This secure and comfortable fit is ideal for use in live concert / recording sessions for musicians as well as for the casual listener. In addition, the monitors have a 4.9' length cable and include three pairs of black silicone tips, three pairs of black foam tips, a carrying pouch, and a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter.

One ear is quieter

The pair I received was defective out of the box. The right ear monitor is about -10 decibels quieter than the left ear monitor. I'm an audio professional (production sound mixer and audio post production mixer) and I tested the IEMs with its various earbud attachments, with various TRS 1/8 to 1/4 adapters, and in various headphone plugs, and the problem persists. It seems the right ear IEM monitor is under-powered or defective. I'll be looking into another brand. Other than this, the left ear sounds pretty good... I wouldn't rely on these though.

I am impressed by these In-Ear Monitors. They provide clear sound and fit in the ear well. Some brands like KZ and others are too big for a lot of ears. This is a good size and has both memory foam and silicone ear cushions. I often use Shure SE215 but I would buy these instead. For $30, it is a great price and product.
