The Digigram LX-IP is a PCIe card that allows DAWs and other software applications on Windows and Linux computers to interface with RAVENNA and AES67 AoIP digital audio networks. Well suited for use in broadcast applications and studio installations, the ultralow-latency card supports up to 64 input and 64 output channels at the same time via a pair of RJ45 ports. Wordclock input and output is available via a single BNC connector and configurable via software.
Features
- Provides gateway between critical Windows/Linux software apps and RAVENNA and AES67 AoIP digital audio networks
- Full compliance in all respects with AES67 and SMPTE 2022-7
- 64 simultaneous phase-accurate I/O channels to and from PC with 0.8ms latency
- Configure both RJ45 ports as inputs only or outputs only for up to 128 inputs or 128 outputs
- Sturdy hardware structure bears computational load for stable and reliable broadcasting performance
- Supports PCM16, PCM24, PCM32, and AM824 (PCM24 + AES3 channel status)
- Clock sources: PTPv2 (IEEE1588-2008), internal, or word clock
- Local clock eligible as GrandMaster PTP
- Local clock precision better than 10 ppm
Connectors
- Two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports for RAVENNA in/out (dual-ports, or SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy)
- One BNC for word clock in/out
RAVENNA Support
- 64x64 in/out (mono) channels at 44.1 or 48 kHz (64/64 I/O on each Gigabit Ethernet interface)
- 8x8 in/out channels at 192 kHz
