Edifier R1280DB Overview

Enjoy wired and wireless audio streaming with the black Edifier R1280DB Bluetooth Speaker System. The system features optical, digital coaxial, two stereo RCA inputs, and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect nearly any audio source. Each speaker consists of a 4.5" woofer and a 0.5" tweeter for full-range audio. The system outputs up to 42W RMS to provide room-filling sound. For your convenience, all connectivity is via the powered right speaker, which connects to the passive left speaker with the included speaker connecting cable. Optical, stereo RCA, and 1/8" to RCA audio cables are also included for instant connectivity.

Onboard Controls
Adjust the EQ using the controls located on the powered speaker. Treble, bass, and volume knobs are on the side panel.
Connectivity Options
Achieve HD audio with the optical and digital coaxial inputs. Two RCA inputs and Bluetooth connectivity are also built in.
Wireless Remote
Switch between inputs, adjust the volume, and turn the speakers on or off using the included remote.

These speakers sound amazing for the price. The audio is clear with good bass and well-balanced mids and highs. Bluetooth connection is stable and easy to use. The build quality also looks great, especially the wood finish. Perfect for music, movies, or everyday use. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a mid tier easy to use speaker system. It's weighty, connects to my phone's blue tooth quick and sounds pretty good. Ive been using it for 2 weeks now, no complaints.

Followup, please. (sorry for the double post) If using via bluetooth, the speakers will be connected to each other by wire, but not wired to the turntable? Is that correct? Are there BT speakers that do not require a wired connection between the two speakers, to allow more freedom with placement? And what type of wired connection between the speakers when using BT? Will a simple RCA "patch cord work? Thanks very much

These speakers have a Bluetooth receiver built-in, so will receive BT from any device tht provides BT transmission. They also provide wired connectivity as follows, per the spec sheet: (the 2nd speaker DOES require a wire to connect to it, from the 1st or "main" speaker.
