This product has a great resolution. I can clearly see the cars in the playback. Can't see the license plates but I'm on a phone so maybe on a larger screen I could. Only downside so far is the mounting plate for the front is more meant for cars and not a truck. I drive a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 and the front camera points more down and I'm unable to get the camera pointed as far out. Still effective incase I need to report an accident though.

Overall we're very happy with the camera system. The image quality is excellent. The setup was reasonably easy, but you do have to read the instructions carefully. We purchased two of these bundles, one for each of our vehicles. We did contact Thinkware support through Live Chat before buying and Tyler was very helpful. We also added the available Radar module to each bundle. When you first mount the camera on your windshield, it looks almost too big, but once you've driven with it a couple of times, you don't notice it at all. Pros: - The software for viewing the video works on a Mac or PC. - The video transition from daylight to lower light (ie: garage or parkade) is excellent. - The system reports the number of Parking Mode events on startup. Very useful if you want to get out and do a walk-around of your vehicle before driving away! Cons: - Removing the memory card from the camera is awkward. While it's possible to connect your phone to the camera and download the video directly using the Thinkware app, we found that to be very slow. - Once you've joined the camera to a hotspot it defaults to that setting and you have to select Wi-Fi each time if you choose to use it. Those are just a few things we've noticed with using the system initially. The negatives are minor, and definitely outweighed by the positives, and we wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Camera quality is very good. Comes with hard wiring kit that is very appreciated. Cloud features challenging to operate and haven't figured out yet but overall happy with camera build and quality.
