The TASCAM VSR-265 Stand-Alone 4K UHD Video Encoder/Decoder for Live Streaming streams and records up to 3840 x 2160 over IP. It simultaneously records video, encodes, streams, and decodes multiple streams using the H.264 or H.265 codec. It supports encoding at up to 30 Mb/s using H.264/H.265 and can record to either SD cards, or attached USB drives.

Can graphics be interlaced with the feed from the cameral somehow? Also, will this work with a wireless camera feed transmission system via hdmi?

This does not have RS-232 connections. You can however use this with the TASCAM DISCOVERY App.

Would this device be good for sportcasting a live basketball game? If so, are there any tutorials where this device is walking the consumer through the setup & implementation of sportscasting. I am interested in purchasing this device. Thanks for any input to ease my concerns. Thank you!
Yes, this device would definitely be a good choice for the intended application and it does have pretty comprehensive manuals on how to integrate into different set-ups. Keep in mind, however, that it only handles one input, so if you are planning to cover games with a multi-cam set-up you would need to also consider a system for multi-channel video and audio switching.

One older review said the fan is pretty loud on these? Is it loud and can you adjust the speed?
The Tascam VSR-265 Stand-Alone 4K UHD Video Encoder/Decoder for Live Streaming (HDMI) does not have fan speed adjustments.
