The Artwood Series AW84CEVNB from Ibanez is an acoustic guitar fashioned in a cutaway dreadnought style. It offers a solid mahogany top, as well as mahogany back and sides, all in a Vertical Natural Brown Burst Open Pore finish.
The instrument's Mahogany neck, measuring 25.6" in scale, has an Ovangkol fingerboard fitted with 20 frets and a set of chrome die-cast tuners. Strings are secured to the body by means of an Ovangkol bridge, replete with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, which are tapered to keep the string's ball end positioned correctly, and have a bulb-shaped end that makes them easier to remove whenever you need to change strings.
For electronics, the guitar is equipped with an Fishman Sonicore pickup, as well as an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp, a 2-band EQ, and an onboard tuner. In addition to the standard 1/4" instrument output, the AW80CE gives you a balanced XLR output, thus obviating the need for a separate DI box when connecting to the house's PA system.
